The Shanghai Car Program will play host to the debut of a pretty strange supercar principle from Italian coachbuilder Icona.
It’s been called the Vulcano Principle and some weeks back, Icona launched the very first teaser of the amazing, describing its design as an “development of the very sophisticated kind foreign language which topped presented on the Icona Fuselage Idea in 2011 by Samuel Chuffart, Icona’s style supervisor.”.
Sounds pretty exciting and made even much more so by Icona describing the Vulcano Idea as flourishing a V-12 engine established by Claudio Lombardi, former powertrain technological director of Ferrari. The V-12 powerplant blends along with a pair of electric motors to generate 900 hp. That’s good for a 0-to-124 mph time of less than 10 seconds with a top speed of around 217 mph.
Now, Icona is back with a pair of new intros for the Vulcano Principle. Among the significant specifics of these two intros is the announcement that the car will certainly feature an unique color, called “Red Magma,” which was produced by Icona and created along with Cecomp. This “Red Magma” finish is visible since, according to Icona, it’s “evanescent when illuminated, virtually black in the absence of light”.
With more specifics dropping before the car hits the Shanghai Vehicle Show, the Icona Vulcano Idea is forming up to be among the gig stealers in Shanghai.
At this factor, we do not anticipate everything less.
